What has been your favorite horse show? The Horse Show in November 2009 was the first horse I have been in, so right now it's my favorite.  I am looking forward to being in another horse show next year.

What was the high point of your riding career?  I have enjoyed everything about riding a horse so far, but I had the best time being in my first horse show and getting to bring home some ribbons.

What was the low point?   So far, the low point has been only getting to ride the horse one time a week - I'd like to ride every day!

How did you get into riding?   I have always liked looking at horse books and playing with horses.  I wanted to learn how to ride a horse so I can try jumping someday.

Who are your equestrian idols?  I think Rachel is a wonderful teacher.  I look forward to my lessons and I learn something new every time.

Other than riding, what do you do?  I enjoy playing with my stable and horse toys, and reading my horse books.  I like looking at the pictures of kids jumping while riding horses.

What are your plans for the future?  I am looking forward to learning how to jump while riding a horse.  That looks like the most fun.

Why chosen as Featured Rider: (filled out by Maypine Staff)

Jacqueline was our youngest rider in the 2009 Fall Schooling Show.  She showed both days and walked away with a Reserve Champion and a Champion in the Walk Division.  She is so dedicated to this sport.  She tries her hardest in every single lesson.  To prepare for the horse show, she took extra lessons.  We love the dedication and drive we see from Jacqueline.  It is an inspiration to see someone so young working so hard and having so much fun at this sport.
