Karen Lenehan

• Career began at Chagrin Valley Hunt Club with Howard Lewis
• Worked in Southern Pines, NC breaking young thoroughbreds for Dave Kelly and working hunters and jumpers for Daniel Lenehan
• In 1997, founded Woodsway producing numerous champions in short stirrup through equitation and jumpers
• Working to obtain judge's license
• Conducted clinics throughout the Midwest for 20 years

 

Redean Sheppard

• Redean has over 30 years of experience working in all aspects of the horse world
• She has coached the University of Pittsburgh equestrian team and helped start the program at Duquesne University
• Coaching beginners and advanced riders focusing on equitation and creating confident partnerships between horse and rider
• Redean's students have been awarded top ribbons from such prestigious shows as Upperville, Virginia, Kentucky Spring and Blue Grass Festival held at Kentucky Horse Park, Gulf Port, Mississippi in hunter/jumper and equitation divisions
• Her students have qualified for the top indoor horse shows including Capital Challenge, Upper Marlboro, Maryland and the Pennsylvania National Horse Show

 

Lauren Bass Consultant

• 2010 MBA., Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University
• 2002 B.A. Princeton University and life-long equestrian
• 1996 ASPCA Rolex Maclay National Equitation Champion Madison Square Garden
  
• 1996 Wayne Carroll Sportsmanship Trophy: awarded  to the junior competitor who most exemplifies the decency, integrity, and sportsmanship that Wayne Carroll has demonstrated during his long career in equestrian sports
  
• 1997 Eisner Pessoa Hunter Seat Medal Champion
  Over 30 Championships and Reserve Championships at the
  most prestigious horse shows in the country as both a junior
  and amateur rider and finally as a trainer of young riders.
  
• Numerous placings in Grand Prix jumping Co-Chef’d’Equip honors for Gold Medal  North American Young Riders Individual and Team Gold
  
• Development of numerous top flight grand prix jumpers
  

 

Debbie Bass Owner

• BSN, Ursuline College, Pepper Pike, Ohio
  
• Owner, Maypine Farm for 26 years operating both an "A" level show and school stable.
• Rider and competitor for over 30 years, having trained with the following: Missy Clark, George Morris, Jeff Wirthman, Rodney Bross, Lanie Wimberly, Lauren Bass
  
• Board of Director of the U.S.H.J.A. Chairman of the Owners Committee of the U.S.H.J.A.
  
• Co-author of the Sales Integrity Program for the U.S.H.J.A.
  
• 2007 recipient of the “Presidents Distinguished Service Award” for the U.S.H.J.A. work on the Sales Integrity Program.
  
• Over 30 Championships and Reserve Championships at the most prestigious shows in the country as both rider and owner.
