Riding lessons have been a time honored tradition among kings and aristocracy since the Renaissance. It was recognized that an education that includes horses is the best way to cultivate the qualities of a good leader.

It sound like a tall order, but the association with horses cannot be duplicated in any other sport. Equestrian sport is an activity that is enjoyed by children as young as two to adults in their eight  decade. The oldest Olympian at the 2008 games was an equestrian of sixty years. There is also a 51-and-older division at the top horse shows in the country. This is a sport can be enjoyed at any stage of life.

Maypine Farm lesson program is the oldest in the Cleveland, Ohio area. We  start our clients from their first time on a horse all the way to their first horse show. For those riders who may not be interested in showing, our progressive program allows you to measure your progress in a fun and supportive environment. We believe the lesson program's close association with a top-flight training program is what supports our high standard of teaching. Our school horses are carefully managed and cared for to provide our students with an enjoyable and safe lesson. Our goal is to provide quality, value and, most of all, fun to our clients as they pursue their equestrian dreams.
